You really just never know what kind of weather you’ll get in Louisiana in the winter. The previous two January weekends were sunny and warm. Unfortunately, a rainstorm brought in a cold snap just before John and Leah’s wedding. This is why you have to mentally prepare yourself for last minute changes to your “ideal” wedding. You can be the ultimate planner or control freak (hello, Leah, I’m your kindred spirit!), but, at some point with a wedding, you just have to let go and recognize that the entire day is about celebrating your love and your marriage with your closest family and friends. John and Leah did just that. Yes, it was freezing cold with a biting wind. But it was beyond obvious that these two were just happy to be married and to be celebrating with their loved ones. That. That’s what makes an AMAZING wedding!
