Josh & Kelly – Shreveport, Louisiana Engagement Session

Josh and Kelly’s wedding day will be here before we know it, so we met up with them recently to squeeze in an engagement session! We were thankful for the rain moving out just in time for the session. As another positive, the parting clouds gave us an amazing sunset!

Spencer & Amelia – New Orleans, Louisiana Wedding Photographers

Amelia and Spencer are off on their honeymoon soaking up the sun and time on the beach, but we’re hoping they have time to check in to see a few more photos from their wedding day! The newlyweds tied the knot at The Jaxson in New Orleans. Following the ceremony, the couple led their guests in a second line through New Orleans with onlookers stopping to photograph and video as they went by. The Phunky Monkeys did what they do best at the reception…they entertained and kept the dance floor hopping! Amelia and Spencer finished the evening by taking a ride in a horse drawn carriage. Enjoy a few photos commemorating their big day!

Amelia’s Bridals – 601 Spring Bridal Session

For Amelia’s first scheduled bridal session, rain was pretty much guaranteed. Thankfully, she booked 601 Spring for her bridal session, so rain wouldn’t keep us from photographing the session. Unfortunately, Amelia was really sick on the day of her bridals, so we had to reschedule. No problem at all! Maybe that meant the weather would be better for the next scheduled date! Um…no. Not so much. It still rained on the day of her bridal session. Again, thank goodness for a fabulous indoor location! Amelia said it has rained on several of their special moments, so I think all of the rain for her bridal sessions is actually good luck!
