Ashley & Chris – Denver, Colorado Engagement Session

We could not be more stoked to share part 2 of Ashley and Chris’s engagement session! These two are seriously adorable, and they are super awesome to be around! We were beyond thrilled to travel to the Denver, Colorado, area to photograph part 2 of their engagement session! We love going to the mountains any time of the year. And an added bonus? Denver has Voodoo Doughnuts! (If you are ever in the Denver/Portland/Austin area, go try out Voodoo doughnuts, you’ll be happy you did!)

Luckily for us, Mother Nature smiled upon us, and we missed the blizzard that hit Denver the week before our shoot. It actually benefited us because blizzard left snow for us to shoot in! After braving snowy mountains, a few thousand steps at the Red Rock Amphitheater, and thankfully avoiding a speeding ticket, we were left with spectacular images of an amazing couple.

Emily & Jordan – Shreveport Wedding Photographers

The week leading up to Emily and Jordan’s wedding was a stressful one…there was historic flooding in the Shreveport-Bossier area thanks to non-stop rain Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. And the forecast for Saturday was the same, more rain. However, starting with a “rescue” of the wedding dress from a flooded road blocked house, things started to look mighty bright! In fact things started to look down right sunny…literally, the sun came out and it turned out to be an absolutely beautiful day for a wedding!!! Brown Chapel served as the perfect ceremony location and Silver Lake Ballroom hosted a beautiful reception and a pretty epic dance party!!! Here are a few of our favorite images from Emily and Jordan’s big day!!!

Shane at Silver Palate Cake Boutique did an amazing job on these cakes!!!

Emily and Jordan planned to party late into the night, so they did their formal exit early giving everyone at the reception a chance to give them a send off!

We’ve been looking forward to Ashley & Chris’s engagement session since we first met Ashley! It was a dreary, overcast day, but these two managed to light it up with their laughter and oh-so-in-love looks at each other. The fact that Chris is a Cubs fan just makes this couple that much more awesome! Their entire session flew by, and we cannot wait for part two of their engagement session in Denver, Colorado! Lizzie and Mike – Houston, Texas Wedding Photographer

It’s time for more images from Mike and Lizzie’s wedding!!! This adorable couple was married at Chateau Polonez in Houston, Texas. Chateau Polonez is a beautiful venue, and it was the perfect setting for Mike and Lizzie’s winter wedding! There were snow flakes projected onto the ceiling of the main room and, as the couple shared their first kiss, snow started to fall outside the giant windows! (No, unfortunately, not real snow!) There was also a very touching moment during the ceremony where Mike and Lizzie presented Lizzie’s daughter, Emily, with a beautiful ring of her own as they celebrated their coming together as a family! After showing off on the dance floor, the couple enjoyed a pretty epic fireworks display before heading off in their limo!
