Shreveport Mini-Sessions – Shreveport, Louisiana Photographers

We get asked all the time if we are going to offer fall mini-sessions in the Shreveport area. But, with our weekends booked full of weddings and out of town sessions, we haven’t had a weekend to dedicate to local mini-sessions. However, we are more than happy to shoot mini-sessions during the week throughout the fall/winter season! Here are a few sessions we’ve done recently in the Shreveport-Bossier area!

Dustin & Kay – Fort Worth, Texas Wedding Photographers

11.18.13

This engagement session was so much fun! Dustin and Kay were a hoot to be around! The time flew by for their session, and, before we knew it, it was time to eat lunch. There were just so many fun spots to shoot! Dustin is a fellow in sports medicine for the TCU football team, so we gained access to several great spots! We had a hard time narrowing down this session…this is the best we could do…

This next image is just too awesome for words! (Notice that Kay is wearing a shirt from her alma mater, Texas Tech! Thankfully, no Horned Frogs gave us any trouble.)

Kevin & Brittney – Shreveport Wedding Photographers

11.14.13

The weather forecast for this past Saturday was supposed to be a beautiful day. “Supposed to be” that is. Instead, it was overcast, cold, and raining most of the day. Brittney and Kevin had originally planned to have their wedding outside at the Palmetto Country Club in Bossier City, Louisiana, but Mother Nature had other plans. At the last second, the decision had to be made to move the wedding inside, but no one was upset! Everyone was upbeat and ready to celebrate Brittney and Kevin’s big day! Very quickly, the reception area was fixed up and decorated for the wedding ceremony. Things turned out perfectly! And it was clear that they knew the most important thing was to be pronounced man and wife! Here are a few of our favorites…

Brittney and Kevin, congratulations on your big day!!! We wish you two a lifetime of happiness!

Julie & John – Shreveport Engagement Photography

On Thursday afternoon, we met up with this adorable couple for their engagement session. They had a few last second problems on the way to our session, and they forgot the one thing they wanted photographed the most…their hammock! Luckily, we had some time the next day to meet up and capture those images as well! This couple was just too cute! Julie has a big smile that she flashes at John all the time, and, despite his quiet nature, it’s obvious she brings out the happiness in him!

You may notice in these next two images that Julie is radiating happiness! It may just so happen to be because she had just finished telling Nicole and I how John proposed to her! It’s the sweetest proposal story and these next two images are picture proof of how special it was to Julie!

Finally, we’ll end the blog with a few of the hammock pictures! Totally worth coming back out for these images!!!
