This past Saturday in New Orleans, Jason and Shammah became husband and wife in a beautiful ceremony followed by a dance filled reception! While getting ready for the ceremony, Shammah watched as rain started to fall, but there were no negative thoughts. In fact, the first comment heard from her room was, “it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day!” Shammah and her bridesmaids had such a great time as they were getting dressed. There were lots of laughs, smiles, and even a few shots! And, as Jason and his guys were getting ready, everyone was all joking around and excited for the upcoming nuptials! It was a beautiful day of family, friends, and great times!

There were several personal touches to this wedding. One of them being this ring box that was made for the big day!

The ceremony and reception were held at Cedar Grove Tchoupitoulas Plantation. The Plantation was a beautiful location and their staff was top notch!

Jason had a huge smile on his face as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time!

Another special touch to the wedding was the groom’s cake. Jason made this oil derrick cake topper himself!

A super fun addition to the reception were these personalized sunglasses that Jason and Shammah had made as party favors!

Before Jason could find the garter, he pulled out a few crazy objects…like a rubber chicken, a flute, sunglasses, and pair of panties!!! This couple really had a blast on their wedding day!

And we’ll end this beautiful wedding by sharing our two favorite images from the day! We were able to sneak the newlyweds away to grab a couple of portraits and ended up with some amazing images!
