Marie & Scott – Lecompte, LA Engagement Session

We met up with Marie & Scott at Scott’s parents’ home in Lecompte, Louisiana, this past Sunday. During planning emails with Marie for their engagement session, Marie described Scott’s family’s property and a nearby abandoned sugar mill. Based on her description, we knew this session would be fantastic! But it wasn’t the super cool locations that made this session amazing, it was the couple! These two are just flat out adorable together! Couples like Marie and Scott are the reason we love what we do. Seeing people who love each other that much and have that much fun together makes our job the best job ever! Scott and Marie were super easy going and they just naturally fell into great poses. You’ll notice lots of smiles in these pictures and that’s because this happy couple kept each other laughing!

Image #3. Cornfield. I GASPED. It’s just INSANELY gorgeous. I’m so jealous you got to photograph it. That should be EVERYWHERE in your branding. PERFECT.ReplyCancel

The Viking Bride – Norway Bridal Session

Ok, so maybe this session isn’t really that of a Viking Bride, but, when you have a just for fun session in Norway, why not have a fun blog title? As you may know, Nicole and I recently had a fantastic vacation in Norway. Also joining us on the trip was my sister, Kennie. Nicole had long planned to make Kennie model for us while on the trip…I mean, with a country as beautiful as Norway, how could you not? If you don’t know much about Nicole, she is a planner! So, months before we left for the trip, Nicole found a beautiful dress for Kennie to wear in her session. Nicole packed the dress in her checked bag and then lugged it all over Norway! We knew we wanted to do the session with a fjord as the background. We’ll share more details and photos from the trip soon, but, when we arrived at Geirangerfjord, we knew that was the spot! We didn’t make Kennie work too long on her vacation, but we think the effort was worth it!

Kennie, aside from being my favorite sister, you were a great model! Thanks so much for being up for anything!

And to all of you brides/couples/seniors out there, Nicole and I are always up for an awesome destination photo session, so if you have a spot, let us know!!! Blogstalkers, check back soon because we have lots of Norway pictures to come and a gorgeous engagement session to share!!!

OK, that first shot is RIDICULOUS. The light coming in over the mountain on the left, how GREEN everything is (OK, I’m from Texas– the time between spring and the following spring is known as “dead”). Stunning!ReplyCancel

Karen & Justin – Natchez, MS Wedding Photography

We recently had the pleasure of second shooting for Tina with Oliviam Photography! We met Tina at a photography workshop earlier this year. It’s always fun to meet other photographers and we were more than happy to help out when Tina asked us to shoot with her. She brought us along to a beautiful wedding at Monmouth Plantation in Natchez, Mississippi. We were expecting the weather to be very hot for this mid-July wedding, but were super pleased to get some unseasonably cool weather! You can see Tina’s blog post here. Here are a few of our favorites from the day…

Justin’s wedding band was very special to him, as it was his father’s ring. So we made it a point to grab a few killer ring shots!

Tina, thanks for bringing us along! You were so much fun to work with! We’re looking forward to hanging out with you in the future!

Blogstalkers we have a busy weekend ahead of us not to mention that we will be sharing images from our Norway vacation next week, so check back with us because the blog will be busy!!!

Waiting for Easton – Shreveport Maternity Photographers

We were honored to be able to shoot Jason and Jessica’s wedding last year. We were even more honored when they drove up all the way from Austin, Texas, to have this special time in their lives photographed! Baby Easton will be here before we know it!  Here are a few of our favorites from their session…

Jason and Jessica, thanks for coming in for this session! We can’t wait to meet little Easton!

Evelyn – Bossier City, Louisiana Photography

Today we are sharing not only pictures of a beautiful little girl, but also a sneak at one of our new logos!!! We will be unveiling a whole new look very soon, but today you just get a sneak peek at one of our new logos!

This sweet little girl has grown so much since we last saw her!  We met this sweet little Cub’s fan six months ago and it was so great to see her again!  We love our awesome clients, The Tinsley’s, and it’s always so much fun for us to catch up with them!  Although, Kevin did get a bit jealous when Jerrod showed off his really cool Wrigley field seat that Jessica bought him!  But jealousy aside, we captured some beautiful images of this adorable little girl!  Here is sweet Evelyn!

Jerrod and Jessica, it’s always a pleasure to see you guys and your awesome little ones!!!
