Good morning! Back in November, we had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding with Alicia Antoinette Photography at Michabelle Inn in Hammond, Louisiana. Alicia was an absolute doll to work with, and she had a pretty fabulous couple as clients. Today, we’re sharing a few of our favorite images from the day.

We’re baaaaack! We’ve had some down time from shooting over the holiday season, but we were back at it this past Sunday when we met up with Sam and her mom, Stacy! It was pretty chilly on Sunday, but Sam made it through like a champ! We’re excited to share some of our favorites from the session!
Thanks for working through the cold weather, Sam and Stacy! To all you 2014 seniors, it isn’t too early to start thinking about your senior portraits! We’re now actively scouting for 2014 senior representatives! If you’re interested, shoot us an email at bergphotographyblog@gmail.com!

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!! Like most people, this is our FAVORITE time of year! Our house is covered in lights inside and out, and the radio is playing Christmas music! Everything from Harry Connick Jr. to Elvis to Gene Autry! And, with Christmas, comes family pictures! Nicole and I photographed several family sessions this year and we LOVED getting cards in the mail with Berg Photography pictures! I can say that every single card we got is currently on our mantle making us very happy! We shared several of the pictures that are on the cards already, but a few of the pictures haven’t been blogged yet. We knew these were possible Christmas card photos, so we were asked to hold them back as a surprise! Since it’s now Christmas time and cards have been mailed, we can share a few of the secret Christmas pictures! First up is one of our favorite pictures starring the super cute Hampton!
Next up is the Olson family. Nicole and I both owe our awesome hair to Samantha, so we were more than happy to take their Christmas card photo!
Next you may remember Lia and Lexie, from their adorable session, but what you didn’t see was them next to the Christmas tree!
Next up is Jenny, Mitch, Kenner and Kullen! (Also known as Nicole’s sister, brother-in-law and adorable twin nephews!) We are sharing an extra helping of images of this family as we didn’t get a chance to share any images from their family session!
We shared some images of my beautiful little niece, Isla, but we didn’t share her Christmas card picture…this little girl loves Christmas lights!!!
And now for a few personal images. We love to decorate our house and yard and we are slowing building up a fancy outdoor Christmas display! Next year will be even bigger and better!
We added a few new friends to the yard this year, and our yard now features the “dinobots.” Last year, we had Stanley the Stegosaurus. This year, we added Barry the Brontosaurus and Grimlock the T-Rex!
And, finally, this year’s Christmas card! Yes, we are rocking around the Christmas tree in style!!!
From all of us to all of you, Merry Christmas!!! We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
Nicole and I were pretty busy this past weekend second shooting a wedding in Texas on Saturday and then shooting our last portrait session of the year on Sunday! Today, we’re sharing a few of our favorites from our last session in 2012! We first met Olivia when she was just 5 weeks old. When Olivia’s mom contacted us about doing a last minute Christmas session, we couldn’t resist squeezing her into our schedule.
Nicole and I were both shocked at how big Olivia has gotten! She has the biggest blue eyes and is an absolute sweetheart! She was quick to give us a big beautiful smile! Here are a few of our favorites from Olivia’s Christmas mini-session!
Thanks for stopping by today! We’ve been terrible bloggers lately, but we’ll be sharing another post with a couple of cuties soon!
Question, do you remember the first conversation you ever had with your husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend? Well, I remember the first conversation Nicole and I ever had. Before our very first class of law school Nicole sat next to me and asked me if I read for class. All I could think of when she spoke was “wow, this beautiful girl is talking to me!!!!” It would be a few months before I got the courage to ask her on a date, but that first meeting made an impression on me and I always kept my eye on her after that. Now, if you ask Nicole when she first remembers meeting me, you will most likely get a different story. Evidently for me to make an impression on her, I needed to be dressed up as Indiana Jones. Today is a monumental day in our relationship because three years ago today we got married! (It’s become tradition for us to blog about our anniversary, and this year is no exception!)
Our life together has been an amazing adventure, and I could not be happier with or more in love with Nicole than I am today. I love that Nicole is smarter, better looking, and I hate to admit it but funnier than am I! From the very first day she has always poked fun at and with me. She keeps me on my toes and constantly challenges me in every aspect of our lives. But even more, Nicole is this amazingly talented, creative, witty, fun, wonderful person that I get to spend every day with! For all of these reasons I could not love her more than I do!
Ok, I’m going to stop gushing about how amazing my wife is and share just a few of my favorite memories from our marriage. First up, the wedding video!
Now for some pictures! First up, two images from the wedding day! How adorable is Nicole in the shoe picture? (Both images by Greg Pearson)
Next up, the image that hangs over our fire place on a gigant canvas! (Photo by McGowan Images)
Next up, two favorites from our honeymoon in Australia! The Australia trip is the single coolest experience of my life! We got to hold a koaloa bear and feed kangaroos! Nicole and I will be returning to Australia for sure!
This next image is from our first anniversary trip to Sedona and the Grand Canyon! You may not believe it from the picture, but that day at the Grand Canyon was crazy windy and freezing cold!!!
Nicole and I make it a point to have pictures of us taken every year to celebrate our anniversay, this image is a favorite from year two! (Photo by McGowan Images)
Our second anniversary trip we spent in Los Angeles and San Diego. Of course, as we are huge Disney fans, we went to Disneyland!
We usually have company any time we go to Disney and during this trip we met up with my brother Matt and our good friends the McGowans (Below photo by McGowan Images)!
Now for some of my favorite images from this year. Nicole and I took a weekend to celebrate my birthday at an awesome resort in Glenn Rose, Texas. Surprisngly, we had to run for our lives from terrifying dinosaurs! Nicole nailed this picture!
And I’ll end the blog with two favorites from our trip to Prague. First is up putting a lock on lovers bridge and second us in front of the Lenon wall.
Thanks for taking the trip down memory lane with me today and letting me gush about my awesome wife! And to my beautiful wife Nicole, I am so thankful that we found each other. I could not image my life without you by my side. I love you so much!
What an amazing wedding. If Nicole would have walked any faster down the aisle, she’d have been running! Brings back memories from 3 years ago, and still brought tears and smiles from me today. Love you both and know you’ll have many, many more!ReplyCancel
Congrats, y’all! Gilmore Girls theme song for the processional = winning. Hooray for McG photos! Prague looks amazing. And the lock on Lovers Bridge is such a great idea. What a memory! Let me know when y’all are back in Big D. We need to meet up sometime. Here’s to many more years of Berg bliss! *raising coffee mug* :)ReplyCancel
