Fall Mini Sessions Part 2 – Mississippi Photographers

Good morning! Today’s post features a few images from the remaining participants in this past Sunday’s round of mini sessions! Here we go…

Starting us off is the Jorns family…

Next up is little Miss Cooper!  She brought along her dance outfits from this year.  Her hip-hop outfit is especially cute!

Carter and Camilla are just too adorable for words…

You’ll probably remember this last little cutie from last year’s mini sessions, too!  Kenzie was so much more comfortable in front of a camera this year!

The Dawsey family came out for their Christmas pics, too!  Beautiful family!

And, finally, we have the Oliver family…another group from last year’s mini sessions!

That’s it for mini sessions this year! Thanks to all who participated!

Fall Mini Sessions Part One – Mississippi Photographers

Today, we’re sharing our favorites from the first 5 mini sessions we shot this past Sunday! We’ll be sharing our favorites from the other 6 mini sessions tomorrow morning, so be sure to check back!

First up is Katelyn & Ella Grace! We actually photographed Katelyn last year around this time! She’s gotten so big!

Next up are brothers Zack and Landon! Landon really wasn’t into having us photograph him, but we managed to grab a few keepers!

Like Katelyn, Danielle, Eli, and Macey took part in last year’s mini sessions! Here they are this year…

This was our first year photographing the White family. This sweet family actually let us use their property for the sessions!

And, to end today’s post, meet the Davis family!

Thanks to all of you for coming out! We’ll share more of our favorites from the mini sessions tomorrow!

The Rhorer Family – Mississippi Photography

Turns out, it really is a small world! And people tend to have interesting things in common. For example, one of our favorite clients, Natalie, planned to spend Thanksgiving with her family in a vacation home they own in Kokomo, a small town in Mississippi. Kokomo, Mississippi, just happens to be about a five minute drive from where Nicole grew up! Nicole and I had plans to spend this Thanksgiving with her family in Hattiesburg, Mississipi. Since we were going to be in the neighborhood, Natalie asked if we would come to her family’s house for an extended family session!

Nicole and I loaded up the car and met up with Natalie and her family to capture some family photos with plenty of time to spare before the LSU vs Arkansas game! We had an absolute blast with everyone and ended up with some great images! We love how the family color coordinated their session! Here are some of our favorites:

Awesome family, right? We hope you all love the pictures!

Blogstalkers, we have lots of mini-session goodness coming to the blog soon, so check back later this week!

I love these!! The fall color and natural framing are to die for. The family style coordination is right on. And I think my two favorite photos are the last two of the post. Those blue eyes! :)ReplyCancel

Jerrod & Jessica – Shreveport Maternity Photography

There are a lot of photographers in Shreveport and Bossier City, but this family keeps choosing us. And we’re so happy they do! They’re fun to be around and easy to work with! You’ve seen this couple and their son, Liam, on the blog a few times before (here and here). This family is about to get bigger, though! Liam is expecting a baby sister in January! Today, we’re sharing a few of our favorites from Jessica’s maternity session.

With these last two images, we talked this sweet couple into letting us practice a new off camera lighting technique. We’re having a lot of fun trying out these new techniques! It’s definitely a new area we’d like to master!

Jerrod and Jessica, we had a great time you guys yet again! We’re looking forward to our next shoot! Blogstalkers, keep checking back this week! We have LOTS to share from our busy weekend!

Isla – Shreveport, Louisiana Photographer

Good Friday morning!!! We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you are finding lots of great deals on this “black Friday!” Today we are sharing our favorite images from this past Sunday’s session with our little niece, Isla. It was six months ago that we took Isla’s newborn photos which means it was time to update Isla’s photos! Isla was very cooperative with us during the session and gave us lots of smiles and just plain cuteness! Here are some of our favorites from Isla’s session!

And we will end the blog with my favorite picture from the session!

Isla is just plain adorable right?!?!

Blogstalkers Nicole and I are super busy this weekend so the blog will be busy all next week! Make sure to check back starting Monday!

Is she cute or what? I haven’t met her yet, but she is absolutely precious. I guess good looks must run in the family! Trying to set up some mini sessions for me, David, Jason, Jessica and Karsen separate and together. Will try to get some others to sign up to make it worth your trip.ReplyCancel
