Nicole and I spent this past weekend having an amazing time at Lake Tahoe! We are going to be blogging about why we were there soon, but today is about sharing a few images we were able to capture while enjoying the scenery! It was freezing cold, covered in snow, and absolutely beautiful! Growing up in Louisiana, I’ve never seen “real” snow. Yes, every once in a while, we get enough to cover the ground, but that’s not real snow. So I asked Nicole if we could go to the mountains and see real snow. Nicole picked us out a beautiful cabin and off we went! The first few images you will see are beautiful snow covered mountains surrounding Lake Tahoe.
Our cabin had a roof covered in snow. And all around it? Just snow! More than once, I just stomped around outside and enjoyed sinking to my knees in the snow. On Saturday night, it started to snow pretty heavily and it was just perfect. I might have just laid down in the fresh snow and looked up once or twice!
Well I hope you enjoyed the pictures from Tahoe! We’ll be sharing a few of our favorite images from a workshop we attended at Oak Alley very soon!
Let’s go back. Right now.
I loved getting to look through your scenery shots! I know the long exposure stuff was giving you a hard time, but the two you posed here are BALLER!
Ughhhhhh, *seething* with jealousy!! I hope Eric and I can make the next Tahoe trip!
Stunning pictures, love the lenticular clouds!
