Post-wedding depression is a real thing. We sort of have it after this past weekend because we’ve been anticipating the weddings we photographed for a long time! We were really excited to spend Friday with Lisa and Blake. These two are our ideal clients! They prioritized photography for their wedding day and made sure to dedicate a large chunk of time for couple portraits. Oftentimes, we’re limited to 15 minutes or less for bride and groom portraits, and, frankly, that’s not a lot of time. Lisa poured so much of her time into planning the perfect wedding, and Blake was behind her 100% helping to make sure that the day was all that she dreamed of. These two were married on family property in Tyler, Texas. Here are a few of our favorites from their wedding day…
We started with their First Look at Blake’s family boat house…
This couple got brave and posed on Blake’s fishing boat BEFORE the wedding! We held our breath as Lisa got in and out of the boat, but, luckily, no one got wet!
Lisa made this bouquet herself!
I love this next image because of the look on Blake’s face. This was a man on a mission! He was going to get married!
The light as Lisa walked down the aisle was as gorgeous as she was!
For those couples who are worried that having a First Look will take away from the awe of seeing the bride as she walks down the aisle, take note of the next photo! It’s so clear that Blake is madly in love with Lisa.
Lisa and Blake, thank you so much for choosing us to capture your wonderful wedding! We are so sad that the big event is over, but we’ll be sure to keep in touch! Enjoy the honeymoon!
